The directive came during the president’s inspection tour on Tuesday morning of the under-construction Pyramids Station in Giza, part of the initial phase of the new metro line.
The meeting was attended by Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, alongside several Egyptian and Tatarstan ministers and senior officials.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, El-Sisi said the forum provides a valuable platform for open dialogue and the exchange of perspectives that can help shape practical solutions to global development challenges.
El-Sisi explained that while the difference between market prices and subsidized fuel prices may seem moderate, the real burden lies in the fact that “the money used for subsidies is borrowed.”
These agreements, including a declaration of strategic partnership with Denmark, are expected to open new avenues for collaboration in sectors such as renewable energy, trade, and technology.
